Refund Policy

At Dash Hounds, we want the process of welcoming a puppy into your family to be clear and transparent from the beginning. The following policy explains how we handle deposits and payments.

1. Puppy Viewing Appointments

All puppy viewing appointments with Dash Hounds are completely free of charge.

There is no fee to meet our puppies, their mother or to discuss whether a Dash Hounds puppy is right for your family.

Our appointment terms, including our 12-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy, apply separately.

2. Puppy Deposits

Where a deposit is requested to reserve a particular puppy, the amount and payment terms will be clearly explained before payment is made.

A deposit is paid to demonstrate a commitment to a particular puppy and allows us to remove that puppy from general availability while arrangements are made for their future home.

Deposits are non-refundable if the purchaser simply changes their mind or decides not to proceed, except where a refund is required by law or otherwise agreed by Dash Hounds.

3. If Dash Hounds Decides Not to Proceed

The welfare and best interests of our puppies are our priority.

If, following further discussions or assessment, we determine that a puppy is not suitable for a prospective home and we decide not to proceed with the sale, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

4. Change of Circumstances

We appreciate that circumstances can change. However, purchasing a puppy is a long-term commitment and a change in personal circumstances does not automatically entitle a purchaser to a refund.

If you become unable to keep a Dash Hounds dog at any point in its life, please contact us first. We are committed to the welfare of our puppies and dogs and will work with you to determine an appropriate solution.

5. Final Puppy Payments

The outstanding balance must be paid in full before the puppy leaves Dash Hounds, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in writing.

Once the puppy has been collected or delivered, any refund or remedy will be dealt with in accordance with the puppy's individual sales agreement and applicable UK law.

6. Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any legal rights you may have under UK consumer protection legislation.

Where applicable law provides a right to a refund or other remedy, those rights will take precedence over this policy.
