Meet the Dogs
The dogs behind Dash Hounds
Every Dash Hounds puppy begins with a dog who has played an important part in our journey.
Our dogs are much more than breeding dogs- they are beloved members of our family, each with their own personality, character and place in our story.
This page is dedicated to the dogs who have helped shape Dash Hounds and contributed to the lines we are proud to continue today.
Some are still part of our everyday lives, while others have now retired from breeding and are enjoying life simply as much-loved family companions.
We believe that responsible breeding means remembering that our dogs come first. Breeding is only one chapter of their lives, and when that chapter comes to an end, their importance to our family certainly doesn't.
Our Foundation & Retired Dogs
Here you'll meet some of the dachshunds who have helped build the Dash Hounds programme, see their personalities, pedigrees, achievements and the legacy they have left behind.
The heart of every Dash Hounds litter begins with an exceptional mum.
Our girls are first and foremost beloved family companions, chosen for their health, temperament, character and natural qualities. Each has her own personality and story, and each brings something unique to our breeding programme.
Here you can meet the beautiful girls behind our puppies, discover a little more about their personalities and learn what makes each of our Dash Hounds mums so special. 🐾
Behind every carefully planned Dash Hounds litter is a carefully chosen sire.
Our studs are selected not only for their striking appearance and pedigree, but for the qualities that matter most to us — health, temperament, structure, character and the natural working instincts that make the dachshund such a remarkable breed.
Each boy brings his own personality and qualities to our programme, and we consider every pairing thoughtfully to complement the dam and produce well-rounded, healthy puppies.
Here you can meet the boys behind our litters and discover more about their bloodlines, characteristics and individual personalities.
Considering one of our boys for your next litter?
At Dash Hounds, we offer selected stud services to suitable, health-tested females where we believe the proposed pairing is appropriate and responsible.
Our studs are carefully selected for their health, temperament, structure, pedigree and working qualities, and we take the same care when considering the females they are bred to.
If you are interested in using one of our boys, please get in touch with details of your girl, including her breed, colour, age, pedigree, health testing and previous breeding history where applicable.
We are happy to discuss potential pairings, answer questions about our studs and provide further information to help you determine whether one of our boys may be a suitable match. Fill out the form below to enquire today
